Pablo Gómez-Pan (Madrid, 1982) works as a film editor.
He has contributed to films such as The Red Virgin, Teresa, and Across the River and Into the Trees; documentaries such as Pétros Ení, The Iraq 8, and Destino Russia; and promotional formats including advertisements, trailers, and music videos.
He has been a professor of Audiovisual Editing at institutions such as the Madrid Film Institute (ICM), the Madrid International Center of Photography and Film (EFTI), and the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM). He has also been invited by AMAE (the Association of Audiovisual Editors of Spain), Edimotion (the world’s oldest film festival focused exclusively on the art of film editing), and Adobe, among others, to give masterclasses.
He studied Journalism at the Faculty of Information Sciences at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), and Philosophy (which he did not complete) at the National University of Distance Education (UNED). He holds a Master of Arts in Documentary Film from the London College of Communication at the University of the Arts London (LCC-UAL), as well as a Master’s degree in Sociocultural Analysis of Knowledge and Communication from the Faculty of Political Science and Sociology at the UCM.
He is a founding member and collaborator of the Association of Audiovisual Editors of Spain (AMAE) and the Federation of Film Editors Associations (TEMPO), and is part of Adobe’s Leaders Summit.
Alongside his professional work, he developed his musical practice under the name Ultramar.
After several years in the United Kingdom and Denmark, he currently works mainly between Madrid, Barcelona, and Los Angeles.

Ha participado en películas como La virgen Roja, Teresa y Across the River and Into the Trees; en documentales como Pétros Ení, Los 8 de Iraq y Destino Rusia; y en formatos promocionales como anuncios, tráilers y vídeos musicales.
Ha sido profesor de Montaje Audiovisual en instituciones como el Instituto de Cine de Madrid (ICM), el Centro Internacional de Fotografía y Cine de Madrid (EFTI) y la Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM). Asimismo, ha sido invitado por AMAE (la Asociación de Montadores Audiovisuales de España), Edimotion (el festival más antiguo del mundo dedicado exclusivamente al arte del montaje cinematográfico) y Adobe, entre otros, para impartir clases magistrales.
Estudió Periodismo en la Facultad de Ciencias de la Información de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) y Filosofía (que no llegó a completar) en la Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED). Cuenta con un Máster en Documental por el London College of Communication de la University of the Arts London (LCC-UAL), así como con un Máster en Análisis Sociocultural del Conocimiento y la Comunicación por la Facultad de Ciencias Políticas y Sociología de la UCM.
Es miembro fundador y colaborador de la Asociación de Montadores Audiovisuales de España (AMAE) y de la Federación de Asociaciones de Montadores Cinematográficos (TEMPO), y forma parte del Leaders Summit de Adobe.
Paralelamente, desarrolló su faceta musical bajo el nombre de Ultramar.
Tras varios años entre el Reino Unido y Dinamarca, actualmente trabaja principalmente entre Madrid, Barcelona y Los Ángeles.
